Password
If you wish to change your password and/or PassMark image and phrase, log on to My Texas CEF, select "Administration," then "Change Password" or "PassMark" and follow the instructions.
PassMark
PassMark is the user authentication for My Texas CEF. PassMark provides extra security by ensuring that the user is not at risk of sharing their user name and password information unknowingly. There are two facets to this higher level of authentication.
PassMark Image — As a My Texas CEF user, you select or upload an image and a text phrase of six to 18 characters (letters or numbers). This is called a PassMark (This phrase is not your password). Once the user name is correctly entered into My Texas CEF, you will be presented with your specific PassMark. This assures you are on the correct website and allows only you have access to your personal information.
Challenge Questions — Enrolling in My Texas CEF requires you to provide answers to security or challenge questions. You may wish to register your personal computer to avoid the challenge questions. Answering the questions is part of the log-in if you have not registered your personal computer. To register a computer, select the button indicating you are using your own computer. Do not choose this option if you are using a computer in a public place such as a library.
