Making a Big Purchase?

Churches spend money. It's a fact. As aged equipment needs replacing and it's time to improve the facilities, your church will eventually have a reason to make a big purchase for the sake of ministry.

Before making a purchase, you must be certain it will help the ministry and benefit the church. First, the Pastor and church leaders must approve. Then, present the plan to the congregation, explaining how the change will help the ministry and fulfill the vision of the church.

As far as making the actual purchase, Texas CEF offers some tools that may help. Saving money in a Congregation Savings Account is a great way to pay for large purchases that are not part of the normal operating budget. Another option is a congregation loan through Texas CEF.

To open a Congregation Savings Account, complete a congregation investment application. If you are interested in a loan for your congregation, please contact Ruby Cruz.
